Steering wheel type information

How do I know what type of steering wheel I have?
GPS Adapter can only support OEM equipment and will not be able to support non-OEM product.

Install a newer Panamera 971-style OEM steering wheel on a compatible earlier Porsche model.

STMV1-971 supports multifunction controls, paddles and optional steering wheel heating when the vehicle and replacement wheel have the required compatible hardware and coding. The steering-wheel Mode Switch can serve as an indicator only; it does not control vehicle drive modes. For functional Mode Switch control on supported 991.1 and 981 applications, choose Adapter-X V2.

The required 95B.971.388.B internal steering-wheel wiring harness is included for supported 971-style installations.

Mode Switch change drive mode can't supported by STMV1-971,it only as drive mode indicator like this video https://youtu.be/O670-030al0 . If need mode switch support in 991.1/981/958.1 please select Adapter-X.
